Building a Helping Hand

They will determine which household materials have physical properties that when combined, can accomplish everyday tasks such as writing, picking up a ball, or opening a door. Scientists, engineers, and doctors work together to develop artificial body parts called prosthetics to replacement limbs or organs for people due to accidents
or disease. This activity connects science and engineering as well as some artistic elements.
